 First the parts are stripped down to bare metal. Any bodywork is done at this point. |
 Then the parts are sprayed with an etching primer for superior corrosion resistance. |
 Then sprayed with a urethane primer-surfacer |
 After sanding the primer smooth, the parts are sealed and then sprayed with the base color. In this case Hugger Orange topped with Orange Pearl. |
 The parts are wetsanded between every step to assure adhesion |
 The flames are outlined with fineline tape |
 Then everything outside the flames is masked off. |
 The flames are then sprayed, in this case yellow fading into lime, overlayed with green and gold pearl. |
 Then unmaksed and clear coated |
